I have Sensitive dry skin so noticed a little tingle sensation when applied but my skin didn't go red or anything so it was okay for my skin. Just need to apply a little amount I accidentally out out too much to my face.

I'm so disappointed! Knowing little about skincare regimes, I feel overwhelmed by the vast array of different products available and I can't afford trial and error. So, I was delighted to find this "jeans and white T-shirt" collection from Sali Hughes - I thought I couldn't go wrong. I purchased the serum, exfoliant and the cleansing balm (moisturiser was out of stock). Now, the cleanser is gorgeous, leaving my skin feeling clean, soft and smooth - and it smells nice too. But the serum and exfoliant both smell really, really awful! The serum smells like some sort of medicinal ointment (I've had to abandon this one) and the exfoliant just smells as if something is rotting. Do I have a bad batch or does it always smell like this? I will persevere with this one as the smell is not overpwering and is at least short-lived as it evaporates. Also, it does seem to be helping avoid any flakiness and it feels nice to use.
