4The Honey Bear eyeshadow palette is the first one time that I Revolution have used air-tight tin packaging for one of their 9-pan palettes rather than plastic, and they must have used a softer formula for the shades - these shades do feel that bit softer & more effortless to blend compared with many of the earlier eyeshadow palettes I've ever tried from the brand, and they have experimented with using different shimmer formulas. The matte shades are smooth & pigmented and all apply very well; no skipping or colour fade, and I can't pick any shade out for underperforming. The shimmer, foil & metallic shades look and wear great; molten & creamy, and they apply well with brushes [you need to use your fingers for the best results with most older I Revolution's non-matte eyeshadow formulas]. Everything wears well; I've had no problems with any of the shadows in this palette, with anywhere between 8 to 12 hours of wear. By the end of the day, Revolution shadows can crease on my eyes sometimes, but I've not had this problem with any of the shades in this palette. Do I have any niggles with this palette? I would have preferred one of the metallic or the foil to have been swapped for another dark matte shade, as this would have added more versatility. - This palette isn't quite something that I'd call perfect, but I'd still definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for an affordable, all rounder, warmer-side-of-neutral palette; the shade selection is very pretty & easy to wear, the matte to metallics, shimmer & foil ratio (5:2:1:1) increases the number of looks you can make, the tin palette itself is very cute & it protects the shadows from the air, and the formulas are excellent for a drugstore brand. If you missed out on sister brand Revolution's A Grave Misunderstanding eyeshadow palette [Halloween 2021] and regret not picking it up, then I think that this palette is reminiscent enough to fill the void; I have that palette too, and none of the shades are the same or anything, but there are a few similar tones.

4First of all, come on, the packaging is adorable! And the colors are very nice. The non-glitter shades aren't super covering, but absolutely good enough. The glitter shades are really lovely, and the mirror is big. My only real critique apart from some of the shades being a bit sheer, is that the names of the shades aren't printed on the box, only on the plastic cover. Super picky I know, but I like to be able to know which shade i'm using without needing the piece of plastic. All that being said, I'm happily giving it a good 4.5/5!
