This foundation isnt dewy, instead it's got light reflecting particles in that can make your face look shiny. The coverage is medium. Very hard to pick a shade online and unfortunately mine was far too light. Expensive for what it is.

Firstly, yay for the glass bottle. This is thicker than anticipated so less is more, work quickly with it (buff it/fingers). Didn't oxidize much thank goodness. Tried it in natural and artificial light. I've a darker face than my neck with pigmentation, the Light Neutral '4.5' was perfect. Be aware there is very fine shimmer to the final finish, but it's very flattering. Secondly if you see this in shops, the shades may appear lighter because if the frosted glass. Please try a swatch. Tried it on an unpreped, bare face. Can't wait to exfoliate and use the Hydra Bomb primer underneath. I'm MAC NW20. Combo skin.

I was so excited to try this, as i had higher hopes for it since i have hated all other revolution foundations. I have dry skin and this just does not look good on mine. It is very heavy and looks bad on any texture you didn't know was there. It hated being put on by a brush and would not blend with a sponge after. It was a disaster. Slightly better with just a sponge but a hard pass for me

Really glowy foundation, nice and hydrating on the skin. I definitely think this foundation is suited to dry skin types. Doesn't cling to dry patches at all. Great foundation!

xxRevolution Glow Skin Fauxxdation FX1

Bought this at the same time as I bought the Urban Decay Stay Naked foundation and have been wearing both in a 2 day cycle. Firstly, I thought this was an amazing dupe for the Urban Decay foundation but soon came to realise I much preferred the xxRevolution one. I have an oily nose and foundation tends to separate and look cakey after a few hours so I was astonished that after 12 hours wearing it that it hadn't worn off but most importantly, that it hadn't separated at all. This foundation has a light and lovely fragrance of expensive skincare which doesn't linger on the face and has an extremely skin like finish. The glow this foundation provides is so beautiful and doesn't make me look oily so I only need to powder under my eyes and on my nose and isn't glittery like some foundations. The coverage is very customisable, on an everyday basis, I use around 1 pump as a lot goes a long way and this gives me light-medium coverage. It can definitely be built up to a more medium-full coverage so it covers all bases. I am very impressed and have been raving non stop to anyone who will listen as this foundation is great for oily skin (which is rare for a glowy foundation, I've found) and doesn't cling to dry patches so is good for dry skin. Something that surprised me is that my acne has started to fade since wearing this so I can attest to the skin care element to this foundation! LOVE LOVE LOVE

I bought this foundation after watching youtube reviews, I love the coverage (which is very full if you use a normal amount, I use a very small amount to try keep it medium) and managed to match myself fairly well with the shade descriptions. I do powder this even though i'm not an oily person generally, but the stickiness doesn't really bother me TOO much... Also if you wear glasses it will constantly melt onto the bit that balances on your nose. However, I really like the shade and the finish so these things don't bother me enough and I would probably still recommend it to someone who isn't oily.

I like revolution foundation in general, and can say this one is gorgeous on. Very light and skin like, coverage is great and not cakey. Would recommend
