I got this for the lip liner, as I'm always on the hunt for a good black lip liner. This one didn't disappoint - I can get a nice smooth line with it, actually better than my much pricier NARS one. I've not tried the lipstick, but I've only ever had good experiences with Revolution liquid lipsticks.
