Honey Bear is a golden honey shade of highlighter, with a pearlized marble finish in the pan. I Revolution say that the shade is universal. When I look straight-on into a mirror I can't see anything, but when I turn my head the powder catches the light and flashes quite intensely - it's not just sitting there as a strip of colour on skin ala Adam Ant, instead managing to be both subtle and eyecatching at the same time. When I apply my makeup in the morning I'll sometimes use a setting spray, but sometimes I won't, and I've found that the highlighter will last until I'm ready to remove my makeup in the evening, no matter if I use one or not. I've found that some I Revolution highlighters I've owned pinpoint any unevenness on my skin, but Honey Bear has been buttery smooth and glides over any unevenness. When I say that I can't see anything when I look straight-on into a mirror, I mean that I can't see the golden colour: unfortunately despite the universal claim, Honey Bear is a bit too dark for me, so it does leave a slight cast on my skin. The shade & formula are fantastic, so I do still wear it depending on which blush and/or bronzer I'm merging it into. If you have a light/warm & richer skintone, then I highly recommend this highlighter to anyone looking for one on the bolder side. However fair & light/cool skintones will have to keep searching for a goldish highlighter...
