I think having "slime" in the name is confusing. It's a much firmer lip mask, like the kind you use your nail to dig out a little, almost gummy. I've definitely used lip masks from Revolution that are more goopy/slimy. It does have a sprite/lemon-lime smell that I saw as a plus because I love those. I think the main trick is to get a little and really rub it in. Then, it feels like a thick balm.
