This palette is cute and the colours are easy to use

The box is so pretty and the colours are nice and neutral with a few pops of colour. Super pigmented and lasts all day on the face. I love this whole range so please bring out more Simpson Collabs, I loved the Halloween one too but love the neutral and glowing colours this edit has! Perfect for every day use

The Lisa eyeshadow palette is a 12-pan palette, that contains a selection of warm yet not-too-warm neutral shades, with a few pops of aqua blue & purple (you get an even mix of finishes; 6 mattes, and 6 metallics). Revolution use a softer formula for the shades in their collaboration line of eyeshadow palettes; I'm not usually a big fan of the harder metallic/shimmer formulas used in the brand's regular plastic & card palettes and at the most I'd they were okay, however the ones in this palette are actually very good and I can honestly say that they are great for the price. The metallics actually apply well with brushes, although I do recommend finger application for the metallics, so your body heat can soften the formula for the smoothest application. I normally find the brand's 2018+ matte formula to be great anyway, but I noticed that these shades do feel that bit softer & more effortless to blend compared to many of the other eyeshadow palettes I've ever tried from the brand. This palette has very consistent formulas and every one of them delivers a easy-to-apply formula, along with awesome pigment. Every shadow wears well all day (12+ hours) on me, with no fade or creasing - I do always use primer or concealer as a base for eyeshadow. There is only one deeper matte shade - a brown which does go with everything in the palette, but I still feel limits the directions I can take with looks without mixing shades, rather than being able to produce a "quick & easy" everyday look within 2 minutes. Replacing one of the lighter metallics with another medium/dark matte would have been ideal. Also; I'm not a fan of just having one random colour pop being tossed into a palette. There are two aqua shades, in two different finishes, which is nice, but then there is one random purple shade all by itself. The purple does add a pretty pop to an otherwise neutral look, but I would ultimately have liked a second purple tone in the pan - just one of those silly non-issues that niggles me. - The Lisa palette isn't something that I'd call a must-have, but I'd still recommend it to people who are looking for an affordable summer-toned neutral palette to take on holiday or travelling; the colour story can go from toned down daytime, up to smoky evening special events & more colourful party looks. The Lisa palette would also make a nice gift for makeup loving fans of The Simpsons - the shade selection is very pretty & easy to wear, the palette itself is cute & colourful, and the formulas are excellent for a drugstore brand. Revolution's strength with their eyeshadow formulas are with their more neutral shades, and this palette is a nice example of that.
