Super discovery!
5Very pleased with this product, it has a lovely fragrance and has a smooth, even application without any drying effect and creates an excellent base before applying a light foundation for even colour, producing a glow. Good value and would not hesitate to buy again.

1Not impressed. Smells of citrus and the gold flecks look like I've applied glitter on my face.
Report this reviewBroke me out BADLY
1I've used and loved pure rosehip seed oil before as a moisturiser and something to help scarring, so despite thinking the gold is gimmicky I decided to buy this on a whim when it was on offer. After I put it on my face I remembered to read the ingredients, but by the time I'd washed it off, it had already triggered the huge breakout that appeared the next day. I'm 23, and am lucky enough to (usually) no longer get breakouts- this was the only new product in my routine, so I know it was this. It's synthetic fragrance and perfume free, which is great, but it still has citral, lemon peel oil and orange peel oil as ingredients. They're often included instead of fragrance as a natural scent, and “skin brighteningâ€. As lovely as it smells, citrus oils are irritants. They can make your skin increasingly sensitive over time, or can trigger breakouts due to the irritation. On rare occasions or larger concentrations, they can even react with the sun and burn your skin- that's why they're used as a natural hair bleach for highlights. Some people believe this is fine in small doses, and it's true that it doesn't break everyone out; that's why it's in so many products; but please please please be wary about putting them on your face, especially if you suffer from acne or sensitive skin. I'm having to use this up on my hands and feet at night, because it is never going anywhere near my face ever again. I'm so disappointed in Revolution
