5The matte shades are smooth & pigmented and all apply very well; no skipping or colour fade, and I can't pick any shade out for underperforming. The shimmer, foil & metallic shades look and wear great; molten & creamy, and again they apply well with brushes. Everything wears well; I've had no problems with any of the shadows in this palette, with anywhere between 8 to 12 hours of wear. By the end of the day, Revolution shadows can crease on my eyes sometimes, but I've not had this problem with any of the shades in this palette. - Most of Revolution's regular Halloween products are hit or miss in quality and many past collaborations for Halloween weren't the best in terms of colour stories, but this year they keep on surpassing my expectations. I hadn't been going to bother getting The Secret Door, but the other eyeshadow palette in the Coraline collection (Button Eye) really impressed me with the quality of the formulas so much, that I had to go back on Revolution's site for this. Most of the palettes in Revolution's collaboration line have a higher quality in comparison to their usual releases, and for a purple-matte based palette I've been particularly amazed by the high formula quality & shimmer texture variety. The Secret Door is a fantastic collectors piece for Coraline fans; the actual palette is attractive, and the shades & their names all tie in really well. Luckily the formulas inside the palette are very good, so I've been using this palette more than enough to justify the reasonable price of just ?·8 - for the price-point the formulas are very good.

5I personally always loved all kind of purples, violets, dark or light, malva and some blues. Really cute packaging to pamper yourself or, to give as a Christmas present to any lady.

4Obviously I bought this palette because of the design. It's a cute, small Coraline themed palette. I mostly used the purple colours, and I thought they weren't that pigmented. But I think that's to expect in this price range. Overall no regrets that I bought this, it looks cute in my makeup stash. I don't think I'll be using it alot in the future though.

5Great range of colours that match the film. it's perfect for your handbag. love the mirror inside. i love the eyeshadow you can layer it. it looks nice light but add another layer for a define look and deeper colour
