Surprising TooFaced Competitor! Adorable Packaging w/Pay-off!
5Revolution Beauty London, I see you coming for TooFaced! I picked up this palette at a local Marshalls and wasn't sure what to expect - I hadn't heard of this company before. Honestly, the packaging is what drew me in. I love a good component moment, especially one as cute as this! What shook me was how good the pay-off of the formula is! AND the fact that the bronzer doesn't go orange, nor does it muddy. It's buildable, which I think is really important for a bronzer, so you have create depth and shape and have more control. I've had many bronzers that have no depth and its hard to create shape with too much going on all at once. I also like that it's not too shimmery, but offers a nice glow. I don't like a shimmery bronzer, personally. So this bronzer checks both those boxes for me! This has become my new go-to bronzer, along with the one from the waffle palette (which does have a name - Maple Syrup). It blends well on top of any of my liquid foundations. I apply this with an elf contour brush, but I can literally scoop some up with my finger and blend it out nicely - finger to face - which is also impressive. Sometimes cheaper formulas can make your face look way more textured, patchy, and dry, but this doesn't for me! The last thing I'll say is that it lasts! Set it & forget it, she aint disappearing on you. The highlight gives a visible shimmer and beam. I like the highlight in the waffle face palette better (flip - serious to die for), honestly, cause it's way more intense. But if you want a nice subtle glow and contour with a cooler undertone, this is a great choice for the price point! Also long lasting, plays nicely with my foundation and concealer, whether I use a brush OR my finger. Seriously, this is such a big deal to me. Honestly, I like I Heart Revolution Beauty's formula better than TooFaced sometimes.... My palette didn't smell as good as some other lovely people have reported theirs does, but I don't mind. That would be a really nice perk though, Revolution... I'd also like to see the color names printed on ALL the palettes. I get a little extra seratonin being able to call out the name of a good pigment. I mean... feel free to reach out to me if you'd like some help coming up with names! P.S. If I were to name these colors within this palette, I would choose Chocolate Bunny for the bronzer and 24 Karat Truffle for the highlight! Notice the chocolate and rabbit theme? ;)

Great color, undertone for my fair skin
5I've been using this nearly every day since I got it which says a lot as I have too many bronzers and highlighters haha. They are both smooth, the highlighter is not glittery and the bronzer is a very neutral tone and does not look orange on me or get muddy. The blend out well and last all day. I'm very happy!
